For the Digital Marketing Conference 2017, [obscured] needs a responsive website (web app) that displays various information, enables users to rate sessions of the conference and ask the presenter questions through the webiste. This application is our department´s flagship- a top notch design is required. Technology: -Highly responsive website (client-server application), users will access the website mostly from mobile devices. -Accessible from mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers -App needs to be tested on different smartphones, tablets and on computers Main Functions: -Login Function: Users have to login using a unique pre-defined access code to view the contents of the website. We will hand out those codes at the beginning of the event. Each user has to login once with a specific code and stays logged in for the time of the event. Only once users are logged in, they can see the main screen and all other screens of the application. (compare attached files) -Displaying Function: Displaying of various contents such as agenda, single events, information (directions, location, FAQ, evening event etc.). The agenda might be split into 3 groups (each group sees all single events but in 3 different orders) -Live Rating Function: During the event, participants can rate each single event. Create some basic statistics of the rating such as average rating per single event, etc. Each logged in visitor can rate each event only once. We need those statistics to optimize the event for the next year. -Ask Questions Function: during an event, users can ask the presenter questions through the website. How? They access the agenda and open a single session. In the session screen, there is a “Ask Questions” button which opens a text field to input and submit a question (compare attached sketches) Backend function: -The database with all ratings and statistics can be accessed through admin website access to show statistics -Aggregated data of all users is to be collected for each single event and is to be placed into an excel file (or there is a backend site on which all statistics can be viewed) Timing: -The app needs to be ready by no later than 25.02.2017. Testing takes place from 25.02. until 1.03. -Final completion of the project: 1.03.2017 Nice to have Functions Polls function Sketches See the attached sketches to understand what the web app should look like. The first image shows the front page of the web app while not being logged in. The second screen shows the front page of the web app once logged in. The third screen shows the agenda and integrated live rating and live discussion functions of the app. The fourth screen shows what we want the animations to look like: if users tap onto one of the 4 main banners on the main page, a sub page with the respective contents opens up. !!Design!! The Design of the Application is very important to us since my department represents the central digital marketing of [obscured]. The app should look modern.
