Venue listing application for Joomla
We require a venue-listing component for Joomla.
The backend of this component should consist of below sections.
1- Categories
a. Hotels
b. Restaurants
c. Pubs / Bars / Clubs
2- Sub-Categories
Sub-categories will define the type of venue that the CATEGORIES are. For hotels (1 star, 4 star, Boutique, Spa Hotel etc), for restaurants this might be the type of cuisine they are (Indian, Turkish, Fast Food etc), for Pubs & Bars this can be Traditional Pub, modern pub, Outdoors Pub, Modern Bar, Rock Bar etc., for clubs it can be Dance club, hip-hop club etc.
3- VARIABLES
a. Post Code Zone Entry: This is to define in which area a particular Category / Sub-Category item is based
b. Underground Station: This is to define which Underground Station to use to get to this place (item)
c. Facilities: This is to define what facilities a particular category of item has. For an example of hotel facilities. I have just entered hotel facilities here but this page will contain ALL facilities for all the categories.
Basically, through this application someone should be able to;
- see what is in a particular area (all the hotels, bars, restaurants etc in X post code area)?
- See specifically which Category and subcategory place is in an area (check all 4 star hotels in X tube station area or check all Turkish meal restaurants in X tube area)
- Be able to assess the features and quality of a particular entry (see all features of the hotel, full reviews, leave comment etc).
- Find out which category group has X service and where (ie. Check where the hotels with pools are all across London or find all Indian cuisine restaurants in London)?
3- Hotel contacts information entry:
This is where contact details and other ADMINISTRATIVE information about each hotel is entered; such as phone numbers, contact people, email addresses, department details, text entry.
This section will NOT be available to website visitors and is ONLY FOR MANAGERs use.
