Role: Senior Flex Developer

Rate: DOE

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP but will wait for the right candidate

Chase Resourcing has been asked to recruit an experienced, skilled and qualified Senior Flex Developer for one of Munster’s biggest Multimedia companies based in Kerry. It is an ever evolving and rapidly growing organization. The organization delivers services nationwide 24*7. The company is looking for a Senior Flex Developer ASAP but will wait for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Work alone or as part of a team of designers and developers to deliver creative product solutions for the client
• Developing using the latest Flex technologies
• Efficiently design, develop and prototype web applications
• Expertly maintain all relevant software technologies
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and be able to adapt with technical requirements
• Document functional specifications to project team members

Skills Required:

• Extremely comfortable with Flex 3-4 and AS 3.0
• A strong understanding of web technologies, object oriented programming and development frameworks
• The candidate must be innovative, creative, flexible and self-directed with an ability to work as part of a small team
• Must be skilled in user interface design and usability
• Firm understanding of Internet and Web Service concepts/technologies (HTML,WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT)
• Experience with Eclipse or IDE, SVN, large project architecture and design patterns
• Agile or more specifically Scrum Java would give a distinct advantage
