PHP/MySQL eMail NewsletterTool (PHPMailer)

i have as couple of customers, for whom i already tracking newsletter recipients in a mysql DB.

in order to provide these and new registrants for newsletters with information, i need a neeslettertool,

where i can create preferably with phpmailer (maybe you have a better solution) a neewsletter in html and/or

text, save this one and send it to a checkbox-selected-list (stored in my mysql DB) or extend the recipientlist with manually added email-adresses.  

i also have an php-adressbook from which i would like to be able to select through checkboxes certain kontakts, to send them a newsletter.

PHPMailer as email transport class ( on smtp ) looks quite good to me - i have the PHPMailer-ML for trial installed and like the options e.g. design-templates, WYSIWYG editor – Solmetra SPAW2 editor, image upload etc.

maybe this one can be easily modified to my needs or you have a better solution!?
